Anemic?

Went to my doctor appointment today at 7weeks 2days. I was told I have anemia. To up my iron intake and that they will continue e to monitor. If not better they will take other measures? Like what? Anyone else??

I have to take an iron supplement, I did with my first as well. Try to eat iron rich foods too! I had lots of meat at the end of my first one. Steak please, drs orders! ;)

My friend towards the end of her pregnancy her iron was still low so she had to have iron infusions so that may be an option if increasing your iron doesnt work I had blood work a couple weeks ago and my ferritin was low so I’ve switched to fefol which has iron in it so I’ll wait and see how that goes

I was able to increase my iron by altering my diet, no additional pills. Pair iron rich foods with vitamin c to aid in absorption.
