MOMS!?

Question

We always talk and read about what newborns will need right after birth but what about newmom care? I’d love to hear your must have items for the new mom, like I’m talking hygiene and comfort items.  Do we really need a spray bottle to rinse ourselves off every time we pee 😆 SOS

I had a 4th degree tear and I couldn't sit anywhere without a donut pillow. It relieved the pain from sitting! 
Also, make sure you have various sizes of pads. I bought a ton of large sized pads but no longer needed them after 2 weeks. I mostly used liners after that. 
But the best thing that I purchased for post delivery was paper plates/bowls, plastics forks/spoons/cups, and styrofoam coffee cups.  You have to eat and have coffee, but you don't have to do the dishes! It really helped not having to run the dishwasher and put up dishes.

I never had a spray bottle that might be more for women that tear during delivery and have an incision. 
What was important to me was being comfortable so good pillows comfy blankets a nice sweater and I got this cart from ikea to put all my breastfeeding and diapers and baby stuff on that I could roll from room to room.
Coffee was very important & having easy made food like frozen food that could be made quickly even if it wasn’t healthy that’s not what I was worried about at all

I have an incision so I use a peri bottle for water, sitz spray, dermoplast, and tucks pads every time i go to the bathroom and theyve been life savors. And a boppy pillow to sit on and to prop baby when feeding. And I definitely didn't realize how many nursing pads I would go through so quickly lol
Also, snacks you can grab and eat one handed!

Yes to the spray bottle, it makes you feel nice and clean and feels nice. The hospital should give you one. I bought adult diapers for after birth because people on YouTube recommended it, but didn't end up using them at all. I found pads were plenty. I also bought tucks medicated pads and didn't use them at all. I did end up keeping a pack of my baby's water wipes in the bathroom, they were nice to use instead of toilet paper.
