Best at home insemination methods?

My wife and I have been trying the softcup method during ovulation, multiple times, for the last 4months..with no success. We are wondering what other at home methods are out there that have worked for you all?! Please be specific with details!

We tried the softcup method for 10 cycles with no success. I started to worry that something was wrong, so I went to my Dr. She recommended that I try a syringe because it mimics ejaculation better. We got pregnant the 2nd cycle with the syringe method.
I know you will hear lots of lesbians talk about using the softcup method, but I wholeheartedly believe we would’ve never gotten pregnant that way. The softcup was messy, it leaked, & it didn’t allow the sperm to get close enough/inside my cervix.
For the syringe method, we also got a vaginal speculum so my wife could see what she was doing. We used sterile 5ml medical syringes. Our donor gave us a plastic lab cup with fresh semen. We let it liquify for 10-15 mins while we got everything else ready. My wife inserted the speculum, sucked up the semen in the syringe, then aimed it right at my cervix. I waited about 5 mins, then had an orgasm. During the insemination process, I had my hips lifted & tilted up so that the semen didn’t spill out. We also used a towel under us in case of spills because semen is disgusting! 😂 After the insemination, my wife put in a softcup just to keep anything from leaking out. I don’t believe it had anything to do with us getting pregnant, it just kept the semen contained for easier cleanup.

My wife and I inseminated the day before ovulation and the day of. Both times I used preseed 15min before inseminating. I read a lot of couples waited for it to liquidate but we inserted right after getting the donation. Right after inserting the donation I had an orgasm. And I laid in bed with my hips elevated and legs up against the wall for an hour. Just to make sure.

There was a couple I knew that had the same issue and used this and she ended up getting pregnant with a beautiful baby boy

still using the soft cups, so y’all could try this and see if it works out for you guys.

We used a syringe and then placed a soft cup in after with my butt elevated. Took 2 months of that method using a shipping donor. Good luck and baby dust
