If you are concerned about their makeup then maybe pay for a makeup artist to do your bridesmaids makeup in a natural look.

No. I don’t wear makeup on a day to day basis so it wouldn’t bother me so much but if your maids feel comfortable and confident with the use of makeup, I think it would be quite unkind to strip them of that. Especially because they’ll be in the spotlight for the day and will be in all of the photos so you should want them to feel their best. 
By all means ask if they’d mind not wearing it, but if any say they’d like to I’d accept that and not make a big deal of it.

Don’t feel like you need to try and make everyone else happy on your big day! It’s your wedding and your bridesmaids are there to support you! Allow room for your girlys to feel confident though! Sit down with them and see what they are comfortable and confident with! Congratulations!

It’s your wedding hun, so your rules. I’ve never been a big makeup fan either though so I plan on little makeup for myself. My bridesmaids are my daughter and my sisters who don’t wear much makeup either so it’s a win win for me right now.
