Ever consider adoption?

My husband and I have ttc for 2+ years. It's a draining struggle as you all know. We have looked into adoption and talked about it as an option. We have even looked into foster to adopt. I guess I'm just wondering if there are anyone out there who maybe thought about or did put ttc on hold and considered adoption or went through with it? Just something that has been on my mind recently.

We havent, but i know a woman who has done the foster to adopt route and she actually acheived a placement really quickly. She and her husband adopted a 10 month old baby girl and they are just over the moon with her. I used to work with the mom and i remember she and i had discussed kids at one point and she didnt feel like she would ever get to have her own. A few years later and they have their own little family. Its an amazing thing to give a child someone to love and be loved by. Love knows no bounds and you can have every bit of the same bond with an adopted child as you can with a bio child.

Im going to do embryo adoption if ivf fails. If embryo adoption doesn't work,  I'm going to adopt through catholic charities. My friend adopted a baby they had since birth from foster care. It took 2 years to get him. Her experience is unique. Her friends who are doing foster it doesn't look like they will be able to adopt. Many of kids go back to their families.

I've done a lot of research on foster to adopt and adoption. I feel like even if I'm able to have my own children one day I'd still love to adopt a baby.

We were filling out foster papers and I ended up pregnant after surgery and Femara. We had planned to adopt for Honduras but it fell through when that year they closed all international adoptions due to government issues.

I've honestly thought about it a lot lately. I'm 15dpo, no AF, but getting all BFN. I'm awaiting AF to show like she usually does and if she does I was going to take a break from TTC. I've considered adoption and was researching just last week.
