First scare

So I got out of a abusive relationship less than a year ago and I have started to date a new guy. He is super sweet and treats me right but I still have a fear that if he were to get too mad or something he could possibly become like my ex. He has never showed any aggression but we just had our first fight and it just brought back all the memories. Also the fight was the one thing that bothers me is that he can make jokes anytime at any moment but when I make a joke in a situation he would he gets mad like. Ex. We have different phone brands and he always teasing jokes with me and his iPhone today messed up and I said "that's what you get for having an iPhone 😂" and he got mad.
