Fetal Doppler?

Question

It’s my first child and I’m such a worrier. I’m thinking about getting a Doppler just so I can reassure myself ever so often. Anyone have one? Would you recommend someone to get one?

I got mine at 14 weeks and I use it every other day usually for less than two mins. I know of people who use it daily and baby is fine so I do it to keep myself calm until his movements become more noticeable and often. I’m a terrible worrier and will convince myself of irrational things. For me, it’s helped a lot.

I have one and I check my baby girls heartbeat every couple of days to calm my nerves as this is my 8th pregnancy after 7 miscarriages and I’ve never made it past 9 weeks but I’m currently 14weeks 5 days and just need reassurance that she’s still ok in there.

I’ve had mine since 10 weeks I’m now 16 weeks. I got it from babydoppler.com it was very cheap but works great. I don’t use it as often now as I have felt some flutters but we can always find the placenta it sounds like a whooshing sound and then we can usually find the baby’s heartbeat after that. 
I did tell my doctor about it and he was amazed that we were able to purchase the technology and use it at home. He never said anything about it not being safe so it seems to be kind of like parents choice if you think it’s safe. Or you would be less concerned and stressed, I personally thing it’s worth it

I bought one. It’s my first baby making it to 18 weeks. It’s the best peace of mind ever! My doc was supportive of it all the way. She just suggested I Osten to his heart rate in the mornings, so if for some reason I couldn’t pick it up I could get into her in the day. You do you momma!

I had a mmc in march so I worry every once in a while, but sometimes it is hard to find the heart beat cause I am kind of chunky and have a decent amount of belly fat. I dont like to worry myself more by looking for it and not finding it right away and i dont want to use it for too long cause there really isn't much testing done on those things.   They help some people but just make some others worry more. I try to avoid using it, but if i am very anxious i take a minute and use it generally just trying to use it the little bit of pressure makes the baby start moving around and im like oh okay you are good I dont need to find your heart beat if I hadnt already.

I have one, just don’t use it 24/7 and get too stressed. When you reach a certain point in your pregnancy your baby will be hard to find as it’s very active! As long as you can find the placenta which sounds like wind in a way bub is still good in there and has a heartbeat. Not everyone supports it but I’m only planning to use it until bubs movements get stronger and I’ll probably use it after that just too hear that beautiful heartbeat 😊 it reassured me a lot though but congratulations. If you want a good brand on what to buy which is very good to pick up your baby’s heartbeat i can comment a picture for you.
