I’m so frustrated!! My financial aid office needs my w2 from 2017. Okay fine. I went to my old work to try and get it THREE times. Even talked to the gm. He said “we can’t get it because it was so long ago and we switched companies”. I told financial aid this 3 times. They said “fill out the non tax filing form and turn it in” keep in mind I didn’t file taxes for 2017 because I didn’t make enough. It took me a month for the irs to send me a paper saving “we have no transcript for you”. No duh because I didn’t file. Today I went to turn in my non tax filing paper and the paper from the irs to financial aid and the girl said “where’s your w2”. I told her why I didn’t have it and that I had already explained it to “another girl” (which was most likely her) in the phone and she told me all I needed was my form. Instead of actually helping me and telling me exactly what to do , she just said “well we need it and you need to give it to us”. THEN TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!

I posted this yesterday and I think I only got one helpful comment. I don’t need the comments like “Blame your self or this why you are supposed to do this this and this”. This was TWO years ago. I was seventeen. They don’t teach this stuff in school. We were too busy learning about half life and how to find the angle of a triangle. I can’t go back I time and fix it. Instead of saying how dumb I was, I’d like some advice on my actual problem.
