We decided to change hospital as we live in between several and my “local” is actually not the closest or quickest to get to. My midwife advised changing after my 20 wk scan and before consultant care starts (I’m high risk).

The referral supposedly went through over 2 weeks ago but I haven’t heard anything, and I’ve “missed” my first consultant appointment from my “local” hospital already.

I’ve messaged my midwife and her team but no reply. I’m getting very nervous now.

Has anyone had experiences of changing hospital? Did it take this long?

Update: I finally got a response from another midwife in my community team. She is looking into it for me.
