Clothing sizes
Okay so, I’m currently in a disagreement with my sons dad. My son is 3 and usually wears a size 2T, he’s small for his age. And sometimes, certain clothes will fit longer than others. Mostly shorts. He has a pair of 12 M shorts that still fit. They’re not short on him, they’re not tight, anything. Some kid clothes are just sized funny. I’m the kind of parent that will continue to put clothes that still fit, on my child. To me, it doesn’t matter what size it says, as long as it fits well. I even some clothes like that. His dad during visitation took it upon himself to throw the shorts away and is now trying to make me look and feel stupid for putting them on him. Does anyone else do this? I don’t see the point of getting rid of clothes that still fit and are in still good condition. It honestly just drives me nuts that he’s making such a big deal over it and making it seem like I just can’t afford to buy him new clothes. Which isn’t true at all, he has a lot of clothes, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to throw out a pair of shorts when they’re still wearable.
