What’s so hard to understand?
Why do people just assume that since they got pregnant easily that it’s the same for everyone?
Why do people just assume that since their pregnancy was a certain ways, than yours will also be that way and it’s unlikely/impossible for it to be different?
How do you respond to these kinds of people/remarks?
It took my husband and I over a year and a half before we got pregnant, and we had to go through fertility help because we couldn’t do it on our own. People were really hurtful and nasty about it. Blaming it just one my husband or just in myself, and making so many judgy comments like “there’s nothing wrong just have sex.” Anyway, now that I’m pregnant everyone is being super negative. My mom and my sister both suffered Through HG through all 10 of their combined pregnancies. (My mom 8 and my sister 2) they spent a majority of their pregnancy in the hospital, and had to have permanent ivs in place for fluids after a bit. My pregnancy so far is looking to be very similar if not the same as my mom and sisters. It’s been awful. I’ve been getting comments after comments about how it’ll go away. There’s no way it’ll stay. And that I shouldn’t have quit my job (which I wasn’t given a choice. I was too sick.) because after 13 weeks (next week) it’ll be totally gone and that I’ll be totally fine.
I’ve tried 5 medications, and have been in and out of the doctors for the last 7 weeks.
So how do you deal with this stuff?
