My due date was today 8/8 with no signs of labor coming. Got off work and took my kids to the parade for our local county fair. Started experiencing very light contractions. They were still there around dinner time but I wasn't paying too much attention since they were so light. After the kids went to bed, i started timing them about 5-7 minutes apart but not painful at all. Packed the rest of my hospital bag, just in case and now I'm just laying in bed waiting for contractions to pick up more intensity before I go to the hospital. At my last appointment I was barely 1cm dilated so I think it will be awhile. I'm so excited I can't sleep. Can't wait to meet my little girl!
