I’m 38.5 weeks & still nothing happens, no contractions no sign of labor!

I had my first at 40 weeks 4 days. It’s common for first time moms to go over their due date. It’s just a guesstimate after all.

My doctor told me it’s a myth that first time moms go over. The fact is that most babies are born in the 39th week.

Had no signs of labor till the morning I went into labor my plug came then my water then baby 6 hours later no cramping nothing to indicate

Common for ftm to have babies 40 weeks and over - my first was induced at 40.1 x

I stared with irregular contractions at 40 weeks 5 days and once I got to hospital I was induced

I was exactly 41 weeks when I went into labor, had her the next day. My doctor said it's normal for ftm's to make it to 41 weeks so they won't talk induction unless you make it to your 41 week appointment. Sucks but 3 other friends of mine also went a week over with their first 🤷‍♀️

38 weeks exactly, water broke while I was out shopping for last minute baby stuff and then contractions started luckily we were only a 5 minute drive from our hospital because I was already 8 cm when we got there.
