I'm due for my second baby and just signed up for a natural child-birthing class. Those of you who took one, did it help you prepare? I have already had a baby, so I know what to expect. I'm just hoping that they can give me better tips for pain management, since my hospital just heavily pushed the Epidural last time. I stayed in labor for two days and made it to 9cm without one for my first baby. The only reason I finally caved was because they said he pooped inside and we needed to get him out now before he aspirated. They said the epidural would relax me enough that they could help pull him out if it came to that. I managed to get him out without any of that kind of assistance, and I really believe I can do this naturally. I'm just wondering if the classes are really helpful or a waste of money.
