Passing out ?

Question

I know this sounds stupid but if you pass out anytime during pregnancy should anyone around you call 911?

Depends. My doctor told me it's not necessary as long as I regain consciousness within a few minutes and don't hit my head or have other injuries.
If you've never fainted before and you suddenly do while pregnant, I would at least recommend calling your doctor to check in with them.

I only eleven weeks. Was sitting on the floor sorting my classroom stuff. I shot up from my legs to reach it put up something high and I blocked out but didn’t lose consciousness.  Felt fine afterward.  If still feeling odd I’d say yes

My fiancé was about to but I woke up in time. It was completely unnecessary because he caught me and laid me down so I didn’t hit the ground and hurt the baby or anything. My ob wasn’t even worried about it when I told her since he caught me. 
If you faint and fall then I’d call your doctor and get her to see you or go to the Er cause you could’ve hurt the baby but I feel like calling an ambulance is unnecessary.

I don’t think it’s necessary unless you hit your head or start throwing up or have any other symptoms that are synonymous with a concussion or something else. My older sister has some inner ear condition that would flare up. Growing up she would faint about once every other month or so. It was scary at first, but it got to the point where it was just normal and we knew the necessary steps to take when it happened. A few times she would become ill after fainting and that’s when we’d seek medical attention. But if she just passed out, and came to within a minute or two and was okay, we would just make sure she rested for a second and elevated her legs for a few minutes to get the blood flow back.
It’s very important though to not go to sleep right away after fainting, especially if you hit your head. As tired as it may make you, my dad always mentioned to stay awake for at least a couple hours after. Just in case it’s a concussion, you don’t want to sleep right away.

Yup. I did. Had a crew come look me over. We were comfortable with how I was feeling to refuse transport but I was able to get my vitals checked and all that.
