Sex positions

So me and my boyfriend always do one position but I know he wants to do others and I do too. We tried to do it from the front and I tried to ride him. But for me it feels uncomfortable because it runs against my pee hole. Is there a way to not do that or do I just have to keep pushing through and it will eventually get better?
