Ladies with PCOS. How long did you take to concieve??

I just got diagnosed with PCOS because I have a cyst on my ovaries trying to bust and it's really hard. I've had irregular periods since my misscariage in November. I am obese and I know losing weight will help but I'm more concerned with how long it will take with PCOS.

It took several years. We've been trying for at least 3 years. We finally got our BFP and funnily enough, it was after we stopped trying so hard. Don't give up hope. It's hard, but it's possible.

My mom has PCOS and had 2 babies, a miscarriage, and then one more baby naturally. We were all 3 "oops babies", so she didn't have any fertility issues that I know of.

My mum has PCOS and always conceived within 6 months (5 pregnancies, 4 children) but she didn't gain a lot of weight until after she'd decided to stop having children. She was sizes 4-12 (uk) at the start of each pregnancy so didnt have the added issues that come with weight.
My sister also has PCOS and she's never conceived in her 7 or 8 years of unprotected sex, she is overweight and only ovulates every 1-2 years though so fairly severe. She also has a damaged ovary due to a burst cyst (I don't know how damaged, but I know it was a big cyst).
I have suspected PCOS and it took me 13 months to conceive my son (I was a size 4 at the start of pregnancy) but I get pregnant without trying (as in 2 "just skip the condom" incidents) a couple months ago, currently a size 8.
I think it varies a lot so dont get too upset about it, maybe try losing weight (I know, easier said than done) that seems to be a factor in my family at least.
