I was at my recent appointment and as i was leaving out a lady walked up to me saying my name and i said yes ?

She told me she’s been trying to get ahold of me but i haven’t been answering so she called my doctor office, asked them when my next appointment was and apparently decided to meet me there ??? Idk.

Well she tells me she’s going to be following me durning this pregnancy and making sure I’m healthy and doing everything i need to be doing but the problem is idk who this lady is and this didn’t happen in my first pregnancy.

She started asking me if i was on wic and i told her no and she asked why not and i told her because I’ll rather pay for the milk or breastfeed and she started pressuring me to get on wic saying it’s free milk and other stuff and i qualify for it and then she ask why wouldn’t i want to be on wic.. i told her i got tired of going to the appointments and the location i went to was nasty and 25-30 mins from my house and people kids running around the office and all i seen was germs and people we’re touching my baby even though i went to appointments with my doctor and i just didn’t like that personally.

She then says ohh okay, then started saying the wic program has changed a lot and gave me the wic number and told me to just please apply 😕.

Well after that i just said okay and then she ask if i have food stamps and i told her no i don’t qualify and she ask why ? I told her it’s because I’m 20 turning 21 in December and apparently in North Carolina i have to be 21 to qualify for food stamps so until I’m 21 I’m under my mom who makes to much money.

She then says well you have a 2 year old and currently pregnant you definitely qualify no matter the age and i told her i don’t have a problem i buy my own groceries and she then tells me if you have any problems getting assistance that’s why She’s there i just call her and She’ll handle the situation.

She then asked if i wanted her to contact food stamps and i told her no I’m okay. She then once again told me to please get on food stamps... 🤷🏾‍♀️.

She ask me if i was addicted to anything and or in a abusive relationship and my boyfriend was near me so she whispered and i was like you don’t have to whisper I’m good on the abuse part no matter how upset he gets one thing he never will do is put his hands on me and she then says okay and i told her i don’t do drugs.

She then ask about my last pregnancy when he was born and how many weeks and then she tells me she’s done with everything.

I didn’t want to be rude but idk how i can tell her i don’t want someone following me durning this pregnancy ?? Idek who she’s with but i know my doctor office would just let her in so she has to be part of some healthcare system but i didn’t have someone in my first pregnancy and i really don’t want someone now.

Update:

For the people who thought it was social services and that i had a case open, it’s not social services and i don’t have a case open and i haven’t heard from the women since i last seen her and my boyfriend said she walked in the office said my name and just sat down after they told her i was there, so we still don’t know who this lady is.
