PLEASE READ FIRST // / Do I send the text?
So I’ve not seen my now ex ‘boyfriend’ for a week and haven’t spoken in 3 days. He made plans with me and ended up turning his phone off and standing me up, mind you I’m 34 weeks pregnant and he had me waiting in town without a call or anything in the rain. He had his phone switched off all weekend so I couldn’t get hold of him when I made it clear it needs to be on at all times in case I go into labour early, he chose to go clubbing instead of spending time with me. So generally I’m not happy and I’ve expressed my feelings on how I’ve felt so alone these past few months with him not showing me any respect or affection. Nothing ever changes so I’ve ended things between us.
It’s Eid and he called and said that I need to come and spend it with him and his family, this is the first I’m hearing from him he’s ignored all my texts and calls all week. He says he spent Christmas with me so I should do the same, yet he’s treated me so horrible this past week how does he expect me to want to be around him, his family aren’t really that welcoming since he’s Muslim and I’m white and we’re having a baby before marriage. I met them once and didn’t feel ‘welcomed’ as such by his mum, so I haven’t wanted to go back but I’m in contact with his sister who’s been really nice.
I’m thinking of just texting his sister this message since she’s the only one that checks on me and baby;
-Eid Mubarak, hope you’re all ok, I wish you all happiness and good health hope you all have a good time. Sorry I couldn’t be there, me and Ismail aren’t really talking right now so it would be awkward if I came but I hope to see you all soon X.-
Or should I just leave it and let him explain why I’m not there?
