hi ok so i’m 16 (17 in a week) and me and this boy are talking and i really like him and we want to hang out at the fair this weekend. i also kinda want to make it a date but i’m not sure if my parents allow me to date yet. i don’t talk about that stuff with them but i just feel like my dad is mostly not going to let me. i want to sit down with him and my stepmom and also talk to my mom about what they think of me dating. it’s literally been keeping me up at night and i had a dream about it lol. can i please have some advice on some things i should say when i ask them about it? i am a very mature, smart girl and i’m good in school and a very good student, daughter, and sister. i feel like my dad is going to flat out say no right away before i even finish my talking and i will start crying because i’m emotional like that sadly. if anyone could give me some advice i would greatly appreciate that! thank you so much!
