Today there was a family dinner at my grandma's house. I'm having car issues so I couldn't drive. My mom said that she'll pick me up, which is fine but I told her I had to be back home by 6 because I was having guests at my house. (Also important me, my sister, my mom and my dad were all in the car)

Fast forward, we're leaving my grandma's house. It's about 5:30 Everyone got in the car, except my mom.. she was still in the house taking to people. So after about 5 minutes of waiting I called my mom to see when she was coming out and she didn't answer her phone. (It rang 3 times then went to voice mail leading me to believe she declined the call) my sister and I thought it'd be funny if we drove around the corner so when she came she would think we just left. So we drive around the corner. After 20 minutes she finally texted us saying she was out and ready to leave. She was mad. She didn't say anything the entire car ride back to my house where they dropped me off. Later my sister texted me and asked me if I've spoken to my mom since then because my mom hasn't said anything to anyone and she just up and left their house an hour before that without telling anyone she was leaving. Which she only does when she's really angry.

We thought we were just joking around but apparently my mom is PISSED. Did we go too far?
