Can I get my tubes tied?

I will be 25 when I give birth to my third child. Will I be able to tie my tubes . I really don’t want anymore.

You’ll have to talk to your doctor my sister was 29 when she had baby # 5 wanted her tubes tired they said no because she was still young and would want to have another baby. Well she ended up having baby #6 while taking birth control. Needless to say they agreed after she had him.

You have to ask your Dr and your insurance. Some instance companies won't pay for it before a certain age, some Drs require you to sign special paperwork before a certain age, etc.

I asked at 26 when I gave birth to baby #3 they told me no. I was too young. Then I got pregnant with twins on birth control  and had them at 28. I’m 29 now with 5 kids and I have still been told no and that I’m too young.

Legally speaking you have the right in most states at 18 or 21 at the oldest. 
I’d call your insurance and make sure it’s covered or the cost. 
 
If ya doctor refuses you that’s literal insanity. It’s your choice to have children. They can council you about the risk, side effects, reversal, etc.

Bring it up to your doctor. I’m in the same boat, baby #3 is ten weeks old. I told my OB that’s what I want and she said it was going to be very hard for me to get a doctors approval this young because they don’t want me to regret the decision and it’s nearly impossible to reverse. She made a note in my file that I have made the request and I’m for sure wanting to not have any more kids. I’d search around for doctors in your network and see if you find a doctor who would preform the procedure.

I'm 26 in a couple of weeks And have a genetic heart disease also I'm 31 weeks tomorrow and have an anesthetic appointment with my with a Dr on the 30th. I'm gunna ask iff I can have mine tied too since this is my 7th pregnancy and 4th child my midwife said theyll tie tubes on medical grounds they'll consider it. Gd luck 🤞 x

Talk with you dr. When I was 18 I asked and he told me No not until 25 or 3 kids which ever came first. I know a girl whos dr said 23 and 3 kids 🤷 they all are different.
