Can Alva Baby actually fit newborns?

I’m seeing a lot on here about Alva Baby and thinking that will be a good cloth nappy brand for a FTM. I don’t want to start with disposables until Baby is bigger. Can I start with Alva Baby nappies or do I really need to get newborn size as well?

So, we got so many newborn diapers before she was born. We did try cloth as soon as we were back to the hospital (also using Alva), but I couldn’t bulk it enough to not leak out of her leg gussets when we first started, even with the newborn hacks. We started again when she was 4 weeks old, and it’s been awesome.

We used the regular ones and they worked fine! Baby was 8lb13oz though. But you can use them you just have to layer the snaps.

I skipped the newborn diapers 💁 one size was big on him but they worked. There's a few "newborn alva hacks" you can try. Just google pics or YouTube videos 😊
