Thoughts on a delayed vaccination schedule?

My kiddos get immunized as soon as they can. I would rather deal with a fussy grumpy baby than a deadly disease.

I get them done according to the regular schedule. Especially with measles going around. I wouldn’t want to risk my baby getting something that could have easily been prevented.

The pediatrician i see gives you no option and doesn’t except patients who don’t get vaccines! Plus she attends daycare and you have to do that! But even so i wouldn’t think twice on delaying them and just deal with the fussy baby i get for an afternoon!

I am in no way against vaccines, however I won’t subject my child to more than 2 vaccines in one appointment. We can schedule them from week to week if we need to and I’ll come back. Its just not necessary to put them through that.

Unless there is a valid medical reason for it, no.

I do whatever my pediatrician recommends. He spent years in school researching and forming opinions about these sort of things and I read many good reviews about him before picking him. I’ll never believe articles on the internet over a trained medical professional.

How delayed? Mine started his a couple weeks late due to doctors being fully booked but all the rest were every 4 weeks after that

What would be the reason for delaying? I mean, out of choice or because for some reason it wasn't possible to get them on time?

That’s what we’ve done with ours and it’s worked out great for us. Depends on what you are comfortable with. Different things works for different families.
