I need to leave my abusive partner, I had my final straw with it this morning had smashed my mirror and threw shit around the house telling me how fucking lazy I am and that I can even pick up a can of alcohol that was his, I'm not his fucking slave and I'm soooo done. He told me to fuck off yet the house is in my name, told me not to take "his" car yet it's a family car but he can have it I'm quite happy to catch the bus to my mum's 2 hours away but I shouldn't have to leave mine and my kids house and leave although I need to, where do I go from here? I'm stuck I know his going to follow me to my mum's and more then likely smash mine and the kids house up, I just want him out I'm so fucking done!!

Have had a dvo in place before and it doesn't stop him, I'm so stuck and scared. The police just dont give a shit until you're dead.
