Have any of you ladies asked for an early induction date?

My due date is on the 25th of August but this little nugget doesn’t seem to be wanting to come anytime soon. I am 38+2 today when I was 36+3 baby was measuring 7lb 12oz give or take. He’s measuring 2 weeks ahead. Assuming maybe now he’s close to weighting 9lb. (Twin sis gave birth to a beautiful baby girl weighing 10.5)

The induction date they gave me if I don’t pop by the 25th is September 3rd. But now thinking I would like an earlier date to be induced before the 25th. I’m 5’4 average petite and I can’t take my baby weight anymore 😂 he’s too heavy.

I did message my doc already about an earlier date but haven’t heard from her. I actually see her this Friday. I do hope he comes naturally any day now 💙 so I can have the option to push instead of a c-section which I’m totally also okay with if it comes to that.
