Bulimia?
*possible trigger warning*
Hey all! I've recently noticed some signs of bulimia in my sister and I want to help her as early as I can. She's a bit of a wild child and is going through a pretty rough breakup so im afraid to say anything to her that would set her off/ make her feel like she can't talk to me, but I know that she won't want to admit to it.
Any time were together lately I watch her eat an insane amount of food(she's always eaten like a bird, lately we're talking full pizzas, multiple entrees, dessert always, and on top of that she'll eat some of whatever I'm having). Afterwards, she complains about being full and 'being excited to poop', then goes to the bathroom and presumably throws up.
I definitely have heard her vomiting about 4 times now, but she doesn't realize I can hear her(my house is quite sound proof so I think she assumes that I can't hear anything). After taking notice for a few weeks im fairly confident that my hunch isn't wrong, but I don't really know where to start for her?
I called health link but anything in our city that could help her requires a referral from a doctor so that won't work until she's ready. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I could do to help her, or to start a conversation she won't run away from?
