Hi everyone, I’ll try to keep this as short as I can. I’m 18, turning 19 soon and will be 19 when I have my daughter. When I was talking to my fiancé about who I’m okay with being there for the delivery my mom said she wanted to be there even though I said I only wanted it to be me and my SO. I know I am young and she thinks her being there will help but I know that her extremely stressed very easily, especially when people are around and I already know I’ll get stressed out if she’s there while I’m in labor. I’ve tried talking to her but she makes me feel extremely guilty every time I try to tell her I want her to wait to come to the hospital until after I have the baby. Please give me advice on what I should tell her and how to talk to her. I love her and have an amazing relationship with her but I just want it to be me and my SO there when I have my baby.
