When is it the right time for baby #2??

My sweet babygirl just turned 1! My SO has MAJOR baby fever! I’m so curious on what a good age gap is. I don’t really want 2 under 2, but maybe I just need a little perspective from some 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th+ mommies (and daddies)! 
My last pregnancy was fantastic, healthy, and I carried to term. I never really imagined myself with children but have found this is truly my calling. I LOVE being a mommy ♥️

Mine are all roughly 3 years apart and planned it so the I wouldn’t have two in diapers.

I meant to hit 1-2 years. We will have a 2.5 year age gap between our two when #2 is born and I feel like that's the earliest we could've done it.
It's been pretty hard entertaining a toddler while I'm pregnant, it's only a little easier because he can listen and understand more of what I'm telling him. Any younger and it would've been ultra frustrating with a tantruming baby who doesn't understand why we can't jump on mommy's belly or why I can't pick him up and carry him all the time.
He likes to be involved and "helps" me do things for the baby. There's a lot to be said for a toddler who can listen and help you.

Everyone I know who has 2 under 2 struggled hard with it. The older babe is just still so young it’s hard enough to navigate parenting them and regulating their emotions without adding another to it. I would have a really hard time I think if I had two so close together, especially with how the 18 months to 2 was ROUGH with my first and learning how to constructively navigate his meltdowns and such. I’m currently pregnant with an unplanned baby but couldn’t have planned the timing better. My first will be 3 months shy of 3 when baby is here and he’s able to communicate a LOT better and loves to help and can understand and listen to simply instructions or redirection. My last cycle actually was on his birthday so it’s literally exactly 2 years 9 months haha.

My son was 10 months when I got pregnant again ( currently 24 weeks )
We didn’t expect it too happen so quick but it’s a blessing to us and I will take on the responsibility of having two under 2! 
I’m 30 and you never know how long it will take to conceive and carry healthy so I wanted to have my babies now and my husband didn’t want them to have a big age gap either!

Im 24 having my first baby next month...Im gonna start trying for second baby once my first one turns 10 months 😁 We want our kids close in age and we also dont want to be too old lol

We're waiting a minimum of 2 years before trying for #2. But I've had an awful pregnancy so that has a lot to do with it, if I had a regular pregnancy we'd probably try for #2 sooner.

My daughter will be 2months shy of 5years old when the baby is born. I prefer it this way even being pregnant. She understands so much more about what’s going to change and how I’m feeling so I don’t need to worry about things being a shock for her. I also couldn’t imagine having to run around after 2 little ones. But that’s just us, we didn’t purposefully wait this long to have a bigger gap but we just waited until we were ready (I had my first at 19 so it took us a while to be ready)

Right time is when you think it’s a good time . Will you be able to manage 2 little ones , for me I had 2 under 2 because my oldest son there was a huge gap and I started over and it was good in a way but sad because he grew up alone but he’s very helpful. With my last 2 I decided to have them super close so they can grow up together and I wanted to get it out of the way and not have to do it again in a few years lol.

I would wait 3-4 years, but I started late so if I want s second I need to get it done soon so I’m TTC now. I’m 35 and my daughter is 15 months.
