My husband does not care for the name we’ve agreed on for our son, but is accepting of it anyway. He thinks it’s too medieval and that our son will be made fun of in school. What is your opinion?

So my husband is the type of guy who doesn’t really care all that much. His issue, is that he works in a male dominated environment, and he just doesn’t want a name of someone he can’t stand in real life. He knows a lot of people, so names are hard. We have come up with names we both tolerate, but neither loves. I asked him to consider my name choice, and he asked for other options. I gave him other options, but he hated them. He knows I like this name, and therefore, he agreed. In his opinion, I should get to choose the first name anyway, because he gets the last name. All of my friends and family like the name, but I feel like I should get a broader opinion on the matter. I really don’t want my child made fun of in school because of his name. My husband himself has an obscure name from Ireland, so the idea that Rowan could be made fun of, is a real worry for me.
