Vaginal birth after c section

Has anyone here given birth naturally after having a c section years prior?

I had a c section with my oldest almost three years ago because her heart rate dropped twice.

With this pregnancy I really want to try to have my baby naturally. So far the doctors have told me that I can try & they encourage me to.

Anyone else been threw this

My mum had an emergency c section with my eldest sister (first baby), 2 years later she gave birth naturally to her second daughter. I was born vaginally 4 years after that and my younger sister another 2 years after I was born (also vaginally).

I just had a very successful VBAC. I had a scheduled csection 10 years ago. And on the 4th of this month we welcomed our first son. Honestly I was so nervous but everything went perfectly.

My doctor told me i would be an excellent candidate for vbac. I’m only 5 months postpartum from #1 but we’re hoping to be pregnant with #2 before the end of the year
