Birth story 13.08.2019 - 14.08.2019
I went for my 41 week appointment with the dr who advised come back in 3 days to induce but just to be sure we did an ultrasound which found I had no fluid left and somehow lost it without knowing. So they admitted me that night at 9pm . On arrival they checked me and I was already at 4cm and and could feel babies head so they said they would go ahead and break my bags in the AM. At 1am my contractions started 15 mins apart painful I walked the hall ways etc until 6am where the midwife took me to birthing and we then broke my water at 8am. Contractions where intense as I was already labouring beforehand I asked for the epidural and he came right away and inserted it around 930 he said it takes 20 mins to kick in. At 10 the midwife checked me and said no time to wait for the epi to start you need to start pushing. I pushed 4 times and baby came out with the cord around her neck but fine. She was born at 10:19am epidural never kicked in so it was done all natural and I felt it ALL.
