Can i dye my hair?

So i always thought it was fine to dye you're hair,  however my cousin who is a hairdresser refuses to dye mine. She said too many chemicals can leach in.  Now im confused and the greys popping up are killing my self esteem.

I got highlights done when I was 7 weeks. My hairstylist is pregnant too and said it’s totally fine.

My hair dresser did my hair when she was 9 months and due lol 
She also dyed hers the entire pregnancy. Same for nail techs, they say to avoid getting your nails done but my nail tech has had 4 kids and never had an issue being there everyday of her pregnancy!  
I’m waiting until end of September to get mine done. Right before my baby shower in October and it’ll still look good for birth 😆

It is totally fine. The reason why they use to say dont do it was because they use to use alot harsher chemicals back then. But now it ok as long as your in a well ventilated area. My hair dresser told me all this and she was working while pregnant daily up until 7 months. Her baby boy is great no problems. It is totally safe. She also said be sure there are no cuts on your scalp also. Other then that totally fine.

I think they just advise against bleaching near the roots/scalp.
