I went to see my doctor today for my first prenatal appointment and as she was doing my internal exam, she mentioned there was some old blood. She seemed quite worried, honestly. Which of course then makes me worry.

She said she doesn’t feel good about it, and asked if I’ve noticed any bleeding. I haven’t. Some extremely minimal brown blood maybe twice and I’m 7 weeks & 3 days. I did just have sex with my SO last night, could that have caused some spotting ?

I’ve also noticed since the exam, I’ve been really uncomfortable/crampy on the left side. Is that normal ?

None of this happened with my previous pregnancies. The most recent did end up in a miscarriage though.

I don’t know, maybe I’m being ridiculous but I can’t wait until Monday so I can finally see this little babe and get some peace of mind. Hopefully.
