Had my baby within an hour of getting to the hospital. Due to emergency C-section because of reduced movement from baby girl. They took me in right away .. first surgery ever!! Terrifying . Got a spinal block which wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Had my midwife on one side and mom on the other holding my hands . Super helpful. Loved having midwife there because I could ask her exactly what was happening and what was going on... Turns out baby was quite wrapped up everywhere with her long cord. So she stressed out and pooped of course. She's currently recovering as am I .. SORE AF!! don't know about sleep even though I've had tylonol and morphine. :(
