I went to my ob for our 10 week check up. Since I have a tilted uterus we had to do a vaginal ultrasound. Tech said there is no heartbeat. Scheduled for a d&c Friday. I have had no symptoms of a miscarriage, no bleeding. What if they were wrong and can't see the heartbeat because of my tilted uterus?

Maybe I am just in the denial phase of grief. But I am freaking out. Should I ask for another ultrasound to confirm again?

Update: went in for another ultrasound and tech said there was no yolk sac. She showed me that there is no blood flowing through baby's body. Thank you everyone for the advice!
