MMC - did you hear heartbeat at earlier scans?

Question

If you had a missed miscarriage, did you see / hear the baby’s heartbeat at any previous ultrasounds before you were diagnosed with a MMC?

Yes. That’s why i still don’t feel 100% comfortable this time around. But I got pregnant with twins in February. I heard their heartbeats (179 bpm) at my 8 week scan in March. And they looked great. Easter weekend I should’ve been almost 13 weeks and I had some spotting so I went to the ER and one of my twins made it to 9 weeks and the other one stopped growing at 8+6. Neither had a heartbeat anymore. I had to have a D&C that Monday. It’s just crazy bc after you hear a heartbeat at 8 weeks the chance of miscarriage drops to less than 2%. I’m not trying to scare you, just sharing my story. I’m now 8+3 and heard the heartbeat yesterday but I’m waiting til I’m out of the first trimester to announce.

For one yes. For one no. First was at 7w5d and baby had a strong heart beat. When back at around 11 weeks and no more heart beat and baby hadn’t grown much since our first appointment. Second baby we were getting checked earlier. At 6w3d baby was measuring right on track but no heart beat. Went back at 8 ish weeks and baby hadn’t grown and still not heart beat. So we might have just caught the baby right after he/she died.

Yes,  heard heartbeat at 7 weeks, baby stopped growing a few days later, discovered at 9 weeks ultrasound.

I saw and heard the heartbeat at my 11week apt. Then at 16 weeks it was gone. Baby measured at 13w5d.

Yes. At my first ultrasound I was supposed to be 7 1/2 weeks but the baby only measured 5 1/2. I immediately knew something was wrong, we tracked ovulation and there is no way I was off my dates by 2 weeks. We saw the flicker of the heartbeat. I started bleeding that weekend, had another ultrasound that showed the baby had shrunk and had an extremely faint heartbeat. I miscarried the next week. 
I’m 7 1/2 weeks with my rainbow right now and completely terrified.
