Any advice from parents with teens?

I’m 19. And I’m 8 weeks pregnant and still terrified to tell my mom and day. I’m the baby of the family. I have two older brothers and I’m scared to tell them too. All of my family pretty much. And I have a huge family 😂 I don’t know how to even tell them. I’m just so scared to see how they’ll react.

I was 17 when I was pregnant with my first and my mom was livid at first for obvious reasons, and my dad actually wasnt mad I was surprised. Now with my second I'm 25 and still haven't told the because I'm so terrified. All I can say and advice I've gotten is "you arent asking their permission. You're simply letting them in on a special moment in your life and whether or not they want to be there is up to them"

I have an 18 year old step daughter, if she was pregnant we would just want her to sit down with us in person and tell us. Just be straight forward and honest. If you don’t get the reaction you want, just give everyone a little time. Good luck.

I was 19 too, & I just texted my mom and she was offended that I didn’t tell her to her face. She wasn’t mad that I was actually pregnant. Maybe do a fun little card or something to show you’re also excited and usually they’ll follow with excitement!

I was pregnant at 19 too I thought everyone was going to be mad at me and honestly they all ended up being happy because every baby is a blessing 🤗
