Nuva Ring Opinions??

Question

My doc initially said I should try Nexplanon but the ob said it would worsen my depression and recommended the pill instead. Went to psych and she said that the pill would clash with one of my medications. Everyone finally settled on Nuva Ring as the best option for cramps, heavy flow, mood swings, etc. Has anyone been on it? Likes? Dislikes? Send help lol my anxiety is not working with me.

I absolutely LOVED being on the nuva ring! I was on it for over 5 years before I elected to stop hormonal birth control (because of a personal change in my birth control philosophy not at all because of the nuva ring). My periods were easy, predictable, no mood issues, super clear skin, didn’t mess with other cycles (sleep, appetite, energy, etc) I could have sex with it in or remove it, and I loved not having to remember to “take” daily birth control. Super easy! If it’s been recommended by your doc then I definitely recommend it for you too! Good luck! 👍🏽👍🏽💜

I like it. It makes my cramps 1,000 times worse but it does lighten my period by a couple days. I haven’t had any weight gain or anything like that.
