I see an OB. I had an awful experience with a midwife. I was brushed off, told I was exaggerating, told I was fine. I ended up in preterm labor. An OB caught it when I went to the ER. (Against my midwifes recommendation). I stayed pregnant three days longer than a to that OB. Sadly my daughter was born at 20 weeks and 3 days. She passed shortly after her birth. I can’t help but feel bad I seen an OB my daughter may have made it.

Answer

This is my fourth pregnancy and I’ve been with the same midwives each time. They are amazing at caring for me. I did with my second get accepted to another clinic first and went to my first appointment and it did not feel right so I called my midwife and asked her if she had any room for me. She said she would gladly take me again. I have had home births with all of them and plan to do so this time around. I also like that they come to your home for baby’s first 3 visits in the first week. Then you go to them for the last 3.
