Have you purchased the Doppler ultrasound?!

I’m thinking about purchasing a Doppler ultrasound. But I heard they are very bad to use for your baby, I’m not sure how true this is? Anyone have any experience using one?

They're not "bad", they're just not tested for at-home by untrained people. Dopplers are a medical device, only approved by the FDA for use by trained medical professionals. There have not been any studies on effects of using them more frequently than medically necessary.
Additionally, an untrained user might now be able to pick up the baby's heartbeat and think there is a problem when everything is fine. Or they might think things are okay, even when they're not.

They aren’t really studied.  I bought one and used it once a week or on a day where baby was quieter than normal.  I wouldn’t have used it daily because I was concerned about the effects.

I used it with my first pregnancy and loved it. Will use it with thos one when I get far enough along

I have one. The only reason why the fda advices against them is because it can cause worry to mom if she can’t find the heartbeat. As long as you don’t use it all day every day you’re fine.

I used one for this pregnancy! Currently 30 weeks and I used it a couple of times a day before I could feel consistent movements just to “check in” ❤️ OB said it was fine!
