Flying on a plane at 4 months?? Help??

I’ve had a trip to England planned but my friend is trying to tell me that flying while pregnant could cause me to have a miscarriage.. Is this true? I flew to Atlanta (I live in Pittsburgh) the day I found out (one month in) and everything was fine..

Not true. Doctors don’t recommend flying in the 3rd trimester because of the risk of going into labor and not having proper medical treatment until landing.

So not true! I’m flying from Ireland to Vegas when I’ll be 20 weeks, all being well, and midwife says there’s no issue.

It doesn’t increase your risk of miscarriage. I flew from Florida to south korea at 21 weeks pregnant. Make sure you walk the aisle at least once every hour and invest in some compression socks to help with swelling. Enjoy your trip!
