This is getting hard

We have been trying for awhile to get pregnant with what will be my second child and his first. We tried a year and then took a 6 month break. We did it enough times to possibly get pregnant and its taking all of my power to not take an early pregnancy test. Would it even come up positive right now? My period is 4 days away

It's a waste of money and you risk picking up on a chemical pregnancy, but if you really want to then go ahead. Just note that the claims on the box of early detection HPTs have never been proven by independent laboratories.
