Why do I cough when I'm nauseous?
Any time I get really nauseous, usually due to not eating (sometimes I just forget to eat or I'm in a rush), I will caugh a lot. They are like deep coughs and they temporarily relieve the painful nausea.
I know I know, I need to just eat something, but sometimes I can't.
