I got a conch piercing 5 months ago and I've noticed I have a small scar bump on the back of my ear that just won't go away...I clean it with sea salt spray daily and it has helped because it's not as big as before.

Do I just have to keep at it?

Also my piercer told me I can switch to a new earring within 4-5 months however should I attempt knowing I have a bump?

Also is it still normal to experience yellow crusties once in a while?
