Do ovulation tests work as pregnancy tests as well?

I didn't have any pregnancy tests in the house so did a ovulation one instead and it was positive but now I'm scared a real pregnancy test won't be positive 🙈

You have have multiple surges through your cycle, including when your period is due.
Once you confirm ovulation, you should stop taking ovulation test.
When your period is late, just use a pregnancy test...

Most women get an lh surge just before their period AND most women who are pregnant will get a positive lh test. Theres no way to know which is which until you get af or take a pregnancy test

If an OPK is detecting pregnancy then a pregnancy test will be positive. If you get a positive OPK but negative test then it’s just picking up a surge of LH.
