My son is 9 years old and he has two younger siblings at his dads house. We share 50/50 custody, so he’s there literally 50% of the time. And my son tells me this story today. His bed time is usually 8:00 and he told me his dad told him to just go to sleep. He absolutely cannot sleep in a car, always has been that way. His dad has not responded to my text... and I just want to know am I just overthinking things or do I have a legitimate reason to be pissed off?

Ps. The reason why I said “spend time with the kids” is because his wife runs a daycare out of their home, and he’s out of town almost every weekend. I do not resent her for wanting to go out and spend time with friends, I just think they are making some very poor decisions.
