Okay so my brother in law is getting married September 14th my due date is September 10th . I love my brother in law and future sister in law . Originally I was supposed to be a bridesmaid , but then I ended up pregnant . My MIL still expects me to be at the wedding regardless of if I’m still pregnant when the time comes or if I’ve already gave birth and had purchased my bridesmaids dress already . The wedding will be 3 hours away from my hospital , this is my first baby and I’ve tried explaining that I won’t be able to attend either way . I wouldn’t feel safe being that far from my hospital past my due date and I would not be taking my newborn out in public that soon or leaving the house that soon . I’d rather not be having to take breaks to pump my breasts and change my basically diaper through out the event . It just doesn’t make sense for me to be there . My future SIL is very understanding of this (she’s amazing) it’s just the MIL and I’m not sure what to do
