My boyfriend is going through a rough time getting his kid. He just found out 2 years ago he even had a child. The mother kept him out of the loop for 6 years. Her mother married someone else and that's the only dad he knew until 2 years ago. In the divorce, the mother lost custody and the step father received custody along with the other 2 children(half siblings). My boyfriend has been going to court trying to get custody because he is the biological father and hes made it very noticable that he wants his daughter. But the courts arent doing much to help him. So her step father married another woman. So now she lives with 2 non biological parents and the courts are saying he (bio father) is most likely not going to receive custody because they dont want to separate the kids. Has anyone been in this situation?? Who could help? I think it's pretty messed up that the bio dad cant even have visitation with his daughter all because a woman kept him out of the loop for so long. Any pointers to get something actually done?!?
