Need opinions ? Would dropping charges now be pointless?

Back in May a guy from my boyfriend work got fired and thinks it’s his fault for why he got fired . The day it happened I met up with him on his lunch break . Well the guy followed Him to where we were eating and sat outside until we left .. when we left he got out of a car which was driven by another girl that worked for the company and sucker punched my boyfriend in the back of the head and started attacking him . The girl who was driving the car filmed the entire thing . I had just found out I was pregnant and at the time I was freaking out . I called 911 and the girl told the guy they needed to go cause I was calling 911 . We spoke to the cops and my boyfriend decided to file charges . They couldn’t file Charges against the girl even though she was filming . The cop went back to their work to question her though .

My boyfriend said he personally wouldn’t have called 911 but I didn’t know what this guy was gonna do .

We were never notified if he ever got picked up and arrested all we had was his name and the cop got whatever info about him he could from the company .

Im not 22 weeks pregnant and i don’t know why this is on my mind but I guess I’m terrified if he hasn’t gotten picked up yet that when he does and when he’s held accountable what he might do after .

I’ve ran a thousand scenarios in my head .

Should I mention to my boyfriend that maybe he should just drop the charges if he hasn’t already been arrested ? If he had been arrested by now he would have been released . I just don’t want this guy to ever hunt us down and do something crazy . We have kids and I don’t want anything to happen to any of us .
